Artisan or Commercial General Liability
Commercial liability insurance (also called business liability insurance and commercial general liability insurance) protects your Florida business from financial loss resulting from claims of injury or damage cause to others by you or your employees.
Premises Commercial Liability
Another type of General Liability is applicable for business premises. In this case, the policy covers losses caused under the named insured premises.
Another very important liability policy that most business must have is called the Professional Liability also known as Errors & Omissions or Malpractice Liability.
Commercial Property Insurance
Commercial Property Insurance covers the named insured's commercial property; the insurer will pay direct physical damage to covered property which could be defined as: Commercial Building, warehouse, Condominium association and business offices. However, the loss must occur on the premises listed in the policy and result from a covered cause of loss established by the disclosed terms and conditions.
Commercial property insurance treats business personal property as more than just the contents of the building. Other items may be included if inside or outside the building within 100 feet. Machinery equipment, stock, labor materials and leased property you are contractually obligated to insure is often also covered. Business personal property insurance is a must for most industries.
Keep in mind that although most Commercial property covers against most perils, some carriers may have additional exclusion. Premium could be determined by the size, address, occupation and age and type of construction for the insured property.
